At MedEstheticsRx, we regard skin health as something much more than a beauty practice (although it is a side effect!). We consider it a science. Your skin is the largest organ in your body—and to that end, should ALWAYS be diagnosed before it gets treated. (You wouldn’t give a diabetic a box of chocolates, right?) While most estheticians just exfoliate the skin, what we do is much different: We understand how to recognize the different types of skin conditions (rosacea vs. acne, for example) and have the background, education, and resources to effectively treat them.
Don’t trust just anyone with your skin, especially when it comes to your face. Insist on a medical esthetician.
