Utilizing her background and certification, Georgedes has been associated with a highly successful medical esthetics practice at the Center for Facial Cosmetic Surgery, in conjunction with top University of California of San Francisco trained and Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Stanley W. Jacobs, M.D., F.R.C.S. In this capacity, Georgedes developed an array of state-of-the-art treatments designed to eradicate skin imperfections from fine lines and wrinkles to acne and hyper pigmentation.

Loren Eskenazi MD FACS

Dr. Eskenazi is the founder of this very unique women's surgical practice. She is a board certified Plastic Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Eskenazi completed her bachelor's degree with honors (Summa cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) at the University of Pennsylvania. She did her medical school training and residency training at Stanford, one of the most prestigious programs in the nation. She has also undergone additional fellowship training in breast and cosmetic surgery. She has been voted "Top Woman Doctor" in her area many years in a row. Dr. Eskenazi combines her unique artistic and personal skills to insure the best surgical and emotional outcome for her patients. She always treats her patients as a "whole person" with consideration of all aspects of their life as well as their body.

Dr. Eskenazi's training in fine art has occurred throughout her life, and she has had over 8 years of professional fine arts training at Rhode Island School of Design and the Art Student's league in New York. She has also had training in various alternative medical techniques including biofeedback, several types of bodywork, meditation and visualization techniques and ritual.

Dr. Eskenazi has published numerous chapters and papers in the scientific and lay press. She has appeared on CNN, Dr. Dean Edell, Rosanne Show, Channel 2, Channel 4 the Learning Channel, the Discovery Channel to name a few, and is quoted in Cosmopolitan, Wired, The Economist, Allure and many other magazines. She has done over 40 radio shows nationwide.

Dr. Eskenazi co-founded the Women's Surgeons' Organization within the larger American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She has been on over 15 trips to foreign countries where she has done free surgery on children in need. She has also been chosen by her colleagues to chair many breast surgery panels and presentation and has served as clinical faculty at Stanford university in the departments of Surgery and History of Science as well as being chosen faculty for the Breast and Body Contouring Symposium in 2002 and 2003.

Dr. Eskenazi has done research in natural breast shape, prayer, and healing and is the author of two books, Reconstructing Aphrodite with photographer Terry Lorant, a unique artistic work about breast cancer and reconstruction which takes the some of the fear out of mastectomy. She has also received rave reviews for her new book More Than Skin Deep: Exploring the Real Reasons Why Women Go Under the Knife by Harper Collins with co-author Peg Streep. She is a sought after speaker about beauty and culture, spiritual surgery, and cross cultural body modification.
